CNC punch press brings accuracy and consistency to sheet metal parts used in manufacturing distillation columns used in liquid oxygen production.
You might not think that there was much of a connection between liquid oxygen and sheet metal; but for Air Products at Wrexham sheet metal components are a vital part of the distillation columns it makes to separate liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon from liquid air These plants can produce up to 3000 tonnes of liquid oxygen a day and some of the bigger ones are 60m long by 6m diameter
