Heavy duty laser profiler works through the night
Palletisation and latest control and diagnostics systems enable laser profiling system to cut dumper truck parts under 'lights out' conditions.
Two laser heads are three times better than one
In theory a twin-head laser profiler produces double the output of a 'normal' single-head machine.
Except in this case, it is around three times as productive!
This option has been introduced as the TrumaBend 'S' Series to complement existing entry-level 'C' Series, the electro-mechanical 'E' Series, and highly productive 'V' Series.
The 'S' suffix denotes a press brake whose press tonnage, working width, stroke, backgauge system and automation options go beyond those offered by the Trumpf's three established ranges.
"From time to time, a customer requires a press brake whose specifications are outside the standard, commented Brian Lewis, Managing Director Trumpf.
"This agreement will allow us to meet that demand and to extend our market to include sectors such as heavy steel construction." Production of the TrumaBend 'C' and 'E' and 'V' Series press brakes will continue at Trumpf plants in Austria and Asia.
Development and production of the customer-specific 'S' Series will be undertaken at EHT's plant in Teningen, near Freiburg, Germany.
The EHT Werkzeugmaschinen company, founded in 1771 as a smith shop, has been family-owned for more than 230 years.
Since 1950, the medium-sized manufacturer of machine tools for sheet metal processing has specialised in the development, manufacturing and servicing of sheet metal shears, folding presses, press brakes and system installations for cutting/bending.
The Teningen main plant and the Weixdorf/Dresden subsidiary plant employ close to 200 workers, who generate annual sales amounting to approximately EUR 25 million. Request a free brochure from Trumpf ...
