The maximum sheet thickness for high-speed processing is up to 4mm.
In addition, the more efficient laser can now also process stainless steel up to 25mm thick and aluminum up to 15mm thick.
The user can rely on technology parameters for laser cutting that have been reliably and empirically recorded.
The TLF 6000, which is part of the TLF CO2 laser series, is based on Trumpf technology, which has proven reliable more than ten thousand times.
Fly cutting - but the laser is not the only new feature in the 2D laser cutting machines of the 50s series.
The control unit also has new functions.
In the future, the user will be able to simulate the NC program and graphically initiate re-entry.
In addition, the 'FlyCut' increases efficiency.
With repeating contours that lie next to one another, the laser cutting process can hold its ground against the punching process.
Thanks to the flying, position-accurate switch on/switch off capability of the laser beam, hole grids can be produced particularly effectively without the axes being stopped in the process.
This reduces the positioning times and leads to a productivity increase of up to 70 percent.
Changing nozzles made easy - for unmanned shifts, process-safe operation is vital.
To ensure consistently high cutting quality, the worn-out nozzles have to be replaced automatically and quickly.
At the EuroBLECH 2004 trade show, Trumpf demonstrated how a large number of the cutting tasks can be processed, without the operator interfering, using an automatic nozzle changer and one cutting head.
When programming, the user can specify when, after a certain number of hours, worn-out nozzles have to be replaced.
The nozzles are then changed automatically.
For the cutting head, Trumpf depends on an all-rounder ? a 7.5in head with cutting parameters precisely tuned to these tasks.
