Open House brings in orders exceeding

Trumpf's recent In-Tech Open House - configured to show processes from profiling and forming to final laser welding - set another record with over £3million worth of orders confirmed at the show.

Its primary function was to highlight Trumpf's capability to undertake the manufacture of a three-dimensional finished component, from the first profile to the final laser weld.
Laser welding brings many advantages - no secondary finishing, minimal heat affected zone and of course, the process is much cleaner than alternatives.
However, laser welding is only viable with the consistently high fit-up accuracy of the preceding Trumpf processes on the In-Tech production line.
The latest machines in each of the Trumpf technology sectors, including the new Trumatic L2510, ably demonstrated this accuracy.
Shown for the first time in the UK, this latest flat bed laser has been introduced to provide an affordable mix of quality, productivity and automation without the need for additional space.
In-Tech ran for six days in early November and welcomed nearly 400 visitors from 196 companies.
