Flatbed laser profiler can up
productivity 30%
The drive system of a flatbed laser profiling machine enables productivity gains of up to 30% to be achieved when processing thin sheet - depending on the material.
The drive system of the latest flatbed laser machine from Trumpf substantially reduces processing time and costs Productivity gains of up to 30% can be achieved when processing thin sheet depending on material, part geometry and cutting speed

Heavy duty laser profiler works through the night
Palletisation and latest control and diagnostics systems enable laser profiling system to cut dumper truck parts under 'lights out' conditions.
Two laser heads are three times better than one
In theory a twin-head laser profiler produces double the output of a 'normal' single-head machine.
Except in this case, it is around three times as productive!
Seen for the first time in the UK at Trumpf's In-Tech 2005 in-house event, the Trumatic L3040 has an integrated fourth axis.
This is a low-mass Xp-axis motion unit that is integrated into the main Y-axis bridge.
It allows higher acceleration of the cutting head of up to 15m/s2 improving part cycle time and percentage of 'beam on' time.
The advantages of the additional axis are particularly noticeable on materials up to 3mm and in parts requiring many positioning points.
Control software automatically records the most effective processing approach, taking the geometry of a part into consideration and guides the respective axes to it.
The Trumatic L3040 can be specified with CO2 laser outputs of 3.2kW and 4kW to optimise production.
The high flexibility, precision and speed of the machine is enhanced by quick-change cutting heads and a comprehensive material database that allows the user to switch from thin to thicker sheets in a matter of seconds.
Nitrogen high-pressure cutting and capacitive height and process control enable cutting speeds of more than 25m/min for thin sheets.
Time-savings of up to 50% on the processing of thin, narrow contoured parts is also achievable using Trumpf's SprintLas feature.
For thick sheets, the Trumatic L3040 combines a series of features that guarantee fast, clean and precise cutting.
These include special control systems for piercing, focus positioning and plasma monitoring.
Running on the Windows NT platform, the machine's control is easily networked and teleservice-enabled.
It has a dynamic user interface and on-line help functions.
The programming software ToPs 100 lite is integrated as a standard feature.
The basic version of the new Trumatic L3040 is equipped with a pallet changer but greater automation is easily achievable through the series of automation modules. Request a free brochure from Trumpf ...
