CNC punch press reduces programming time
In addition to saving a subcontractor on programming time an exceptionally easy-to-program CNC punch press will enable the company to complete more processes on one machine set-up.
The first UK installation of Trumpf's brand new punch press, the Trumatic 1000 Rotation, will be in the subcontracting sector Hampshire-based Adept Precision Sheetmetal has chosen this machine because it is exceptionally easy to program and will significantly extend the company's process capability

Since the 1980s the company has bought a succession of Trumpf models including the Minimatic, the TC120 and TC200 punch presses as well as TrumaBend V85 press brakes.
True to form, Adept Precision Sheetmetal is now replacing its TC200 punch presses with two TC1000s.
By the end of April the TC1000 machines will be installed at the company's Whitchurch factory, occupying the same footprint as their predecessors but providing far greater production potential.
"Keeping up to date with technology is an important component in our success," explained Ken Lock.
"And all the Trumpf machines we have installed here have given us that edge." Having made the decision to replace the TC200s the very latest small punch press from Trumpf was the obvious choice for Adept Precision Sheetmetal.
