CNC laser cutter/profiler also welds in
2D/3D
Trumpf introduced at EuroBLECH the largest of its CNC 2D/3D laser cutting, profiling and welding machines with an X-axis travel of 4000mm, Y-axis of 1500mm and Z-axis of 750mm.
With the new TruLaser Cell Series 7000, Trumpf is setting new standards in 3D laser processing The modular laser cells represent flexibility in all areas of application

Two laser heads are three times better than one
In theory a twin-head laser profiler produces double the output of a 'normal' single-head machine.
Except in this case, it is around three times as productive!
"From aluminum to ultra-high-strength steel, in 2D or 3D, the TruLaser Cell Series 7000 can weld, cut, and process surfaces economically," explained Klaus Loeffler, head of International Sales for Laser Systems at Trumpf's Laser Technology business field.
At EuroBLECH 2006, Trumpf introduced the largest version of the Trulaser Cell Series 7000 with the Trulaser Cell 7040.
The X-axis travel of the Trulaser Cell 7040 is 4000mm.

Trumpf to show fastest CNC punching machine
Trumpf will be holding their annual In Tech 2001 Open House event at their premises in Luton on 14th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th and 21st March.
The Y-axis is designed as an arm with a working range of 1500 mm.
It supports a very narrow, compact, and fast Z-axis with a 750mm working range.
Two rotation axes give it complete 3D flexibility.
The machine produces extraordinarily dynamic performance by means of high travel speeds and axis accelerations up to 1G.
The focus position and diameter are constant.
They ensure uniformly high processing quality regardless of laser power and component position in the working range.
Engineers at Trumpf are introducing the processing head with magnetic coupling as a special innovation.
The coupling detaches upon collision with the workpiece, thereby minimizing downtime.
Automatic head identification eliminates operating errors when switching the processing head and allows for a fast exchange.
The hanging operating panel, which has the option of being mobile, is very user-friendly.
An additional ergonomic teaching panel with 6D mouse and a portable screen allows the machine to be controlled and taught easily.
The automation options are also important for users.
They increase productivity.
The two-station mode for example enables simultaneous tooling and processing.
Linear and rotation exchangers are also available for simplified handling of work tables and components.
The modularity allows all automation components to be easily retooled.
The TruLaser Cell Series 7000's very dynamic performance is important for cutting formed sheets for example.
With a passenger car B-pillar made of high-strength steel the processing time is cut by 30%.
Compact laser processing cells with minimal space requirements are available with Trumpf CO2 lasers with up to 6kW laser power for cutting applications and 15kW for welding applications.
They can also be used with Trumpf solid-state lasers up to 8kW. Request a free brochure from Trumpf ...
