Steel and plastics up conveyor chain
efficiency
The inherent strength of steel is combined with the tough, yet non-abrasive qualities of engineering thermoplastics to provide superior efficiency in conveying operations.
Tsubaki's new Clip Top Chain combines the inherent strength of steel with the tough, yet non-abrasive qualities of engineering thermoplastics to provide superior efficiency in conveying operations and safe transport of even fragile products and materials The steel base of Clip Top chain gives the same maximum allowable load as standard steel chain

Lube-free chains operate at 230 deg C
A range of lubricant-free, heat-resistant chain is now available to be used in temperature at up to 230 deg C and offers over four times the wear life of standard chain.
Power jacks give consistent high performance
A range of high quality, high precision power jacks for lifting and actuation tasks can be applied in all areas of industry and commerce.
Therefore, it can be used for heavy load and long conveyor line applications previously not possible with standard RS series plastic chain.
For the user this means lower conveying costs and enhanced productivity.
The innovative Clip Top design features engineering thermoplastic covers that fit together seamlessly and securely over extended pins on each link of the steel base chain.

Power jacks for lifting and actuation tasks
Tsubaki UK has launched a new range of high quality, high precision power jacks for lifting and actuation tasks in all areas of industry and commerce.
This combination provides benefits, enabling users to safely place materials and even fragile products such as glassware, directly onto the chain without risk of damage.
The flexibility of the design means that the base chain can be either Tsubaki's standard roller chain series, or, for "clean" applications where lubrication is not permitted, Tsubaki's non-lube Lambda series (in RS40 and RS60 sizes).
In addition, a further option is a Nickel Plated (NP) base chain for operating environments where corrosion could be a problem.
The user also has three options in the choice of plastic covers, including Standard, Electro Conductive and High Friction types.
The latter offers approximately 1.6 times the surface friction co-efficient of standard plastic chain in dry environments and is particularly useful on inclined conveyors and for conveying very light materials and products.
The High Friction series clip top chain is also part of a much larger family of specialist engineering plastic chains for special applications.
Clip Top chain is available in three pitch sizes, RFO6B, RS40 and RS60, and is designed for use at running speeds up to 60m/min in the temperature range from -10degC and 80degC.
With these combinations there are now at least 18 items in the line up (3 sizes x 2 specifications of base chain x 3 types of cover), plus the addition of Lambda in some sizes.
In common with all of Tsubaki's chain products, the operation, assembly, disassembly and recycling of Clip Top chain is simple and efficient.
The resin cover is simply removed using a screwdriver and the connecting link pins and plates are all loose fitting. Request a free brochure from Tsubakimoto UK ...
