To extend its services to the mould and die and offshore oil industries, TBT UK has invested in a TBT BW 300 Table Boring Machine, built by its parent company Tiefbohrtechnik.

After many years of involvement in the mould and die and offshore oil industries, TBT UK has invested in a TBT BW 300 Table Boring Machine, built by its parent company Tiefbohrtechnik Germany, to further enhance its already comprehensive portfolio of deep hole drilling machines What has become apparent to TBT is that the mould and die industry in particular has grown in terms of size and volume

The BW 300 machine has been developed by TBT Tiefbohrtechnik for those larger and heavier workpieces and has the capacity to take anything up to 25 tonne on the table.

Drilling capacity is from 4 - 80mm diameter x 2500mm deep (blind hole) and has the capability to carry out extensive, conventional machining operations, including pocket and thread milling.

TBT believes that this new investment - EUR 750,000 clearly demonstrates its total commitment to the customer, by offering them, not only the services of a top quality machine, but also improved delivery times.
