Levermount Lifts Load Capacity
Thames Side-Maywood has extended its family of LeverMount load cell assemblies to include a new, larger mount designed to take 3000kg to 5000kg capacity load cells.
Patented Mount Tackles Tension
An innovative new type of loading assembly for weighing suspended loads has been developed to allow simple, fast installation and removal of the load cell without any specialist tools or equipment.
The loading assembly is protected by an "autophoretic" coating.
The T93 LA is designed for silo, hopper, tank, vessel and platform weighing, and is suitable for hazardous gas and dust environments, where the atmosphere is potentially explosive.
The stainless steel load cell is particularly suitable for hygienic applications, and for dusty, corrosive and wet environments, including wash-down areas.
The autophoretic coating of the loading assembly is extremely hard and resistant to corrosion, yet ductile enough not to crack or flake under heavy loads or stresses.
Thanks to an innovative top-plate design which pivots freely about a single point, the T93 LA is protected against the undue mechanical stress and inaccurate readings that could otherwise be caused by incorrect alignment.
The folded shear beam design of the load cell provides high resistance to side loading as well as insensitivity to shifts in the load point.
Consistent accuracy under varying ambient conditions is ensured by the load cell's thermal expansion capacity, while a substantial lift-off prevention feature ensures safety and reliability in strong winds.
Available in two body sizes, the assembly can be supplied with load cells rated for capacities from 500kg to 30,000kg, including 3,500kg, 7,500kg and 15,000kg.
Covered by a five year warranty, the T93 LA is suitable both for new installations and for retrofitting under existing vessels, where it can directly replace older T90 and T92 units.
