Magnetically-coupled gear pumps are leak-free
ATEX approved magnetically-coupled external gear pumps for precise dosing and metering have no packing or mechanical seals - or diaphragms or plastics pipes - so they are leak-free.
Vibration dampening rod end described
Latest literature offers detailed information on a vibration dampening rod end, which dampens the vibrations in unstable controls and allows for misalignments.
flanged ports, the side-ported 1000 Series can be supplied with bolt-on threaded ports, butt weld ports, socket weld ports or blank flange ports (can be tapped to requirement) and each port features a static 'O' ring to ensure an efficient seal between the port flange and pump body.
The pumps are compatible with both IEC and NEMA standard motors via an aluminium adapter.
Typically pumps are supplied fitted to C-face motors, but some models come or may be supplied with D-face motors.
For customers wanting to supply their own motor, Tuthill supplies an adapter and coupling.
The 1000 Series is available with pumping capacities from 4 to 484 litre/min with top speeds ranging from 1200 to 3600 rpm.
Standard maximum differential pressure is 18 bar and 26 bar inlet pressure, whilst maximum operating temperature is 200oC.
The pumps are self-priming and offer non-pulsating flow.
Construction comprises a Grade 220 cast iron body, carbon steel rotor and either sintered metal or steel idler gear.
There is a choice from either ball bearing or carbon bearings.
The 1000 Series is part of the Tuthill Pump Group's 'LubeTech' family.
