Product Service Completes Empar Test

TUV Product Service has successfully completed environmental and EMC qualification testing on EMPAR which is to be installed as part of missile defence systems onboard frigates for two Navies.

The company was selected by AMS as testing services provider to the EMPAR project as one of few organisations which offers the benefit of single-source environmental and EMC testing.
Project Engineering Team Leader Brian Daniel comments: "AMS Ltd (Radar Systems Division) selected TUV Product Service because it is able to carry out a range of environmental and EMC testing, cost effectively, at the Fareham facility.
The team at TUV Product Service made every effort from the outset to ensure that our testing requirements were met, and established a good working relationship with the AMS on-site team responsible for the functional testing of the AMS equipment, throughout the four-month test period.".
