Temperatures monitored remotely through
Ethernet
A flexible, low cost solution for remote temperature monitoring via Ethernet (LAN or Internet) allows temperatures to be read via HTML or XML web pages, or through an SNMP client.
Poseidon is a flexible, low cost solution for remote temperature monitoring via Ethernet (LAN or Internet) Temperatures can be read via HTML or XML web pages, or via an SNMP client
Additionally SNMP traps can be sent to warn when a temperature (and/or humidity level) has fallen outside a desired range.
Temperature (and humidity) sensors are connected to Poseidon via RS232, RS485 or 1-wire connections and in the case of RS-485 up to 43 sensors can be connected to a single Poseidon.
Poseidon is also equipped with 3 binary inputs so that the states of up to three digital sensors (door contacts, PIR, smoke sensors, etc) may also be monitored remotely.
Typical applications for Poseidon include monitoring the temperature of warehouses containing temperature sensitive goods, monitoring the temperature of power supplies, chemical processes, food processing operations, retail environments, etc.
