Trainer1 launches reaKt, a sister
product to CSL
Trainer1 has launched the Response Environment for Active Knowledge Transfer (reaKt), a tool that will deliver informal learning of any type from a search engine.
Trainer1, the e-learning specialist and Europe-wide authority on workflow learning, has launched the Response Environment for Active Knowledge Transfer (reaKt), a tool that will deliver informal learning of any type from a search engine It is designed to work with non-IT programmes - such as influencing skills and interview techniques - and, as such, is a complementary product to Trainer1's Context Sensitive Learning (CSL), the delivery system that uses e-learning to give the end users the IT-related learning information they need at the moment they need it

Trainer1 launches Argonaut
Trainer1 has released Argonaut, a new, enterprise-wide, simple to install and use, knowledge management application
Trainer1's managing director, Neil Lasher, commented: "Increasingly, organisations and individuals want immediate access to the right learning materials to meet their need.
They don't want to enter into long or full courses when all they need is a small learning byte to meet their current need.
"That's where tools such as reaKt and CSL are so valuable in both an organisational and individual development context.
"The threefold concept behind reaKt and CSL is that they provide immediate learning, intelligent learning and direct delivery of that learning.
This means that they meet the need for what are now being termed workflow learning tools.
"These products integrate learning into workflow without detracting from the work itself.
This means that they keep the cost of training/learning to a minimum and, at the same time, maximise the output from the learning." Trainer1's reaKt is a "dot net" application that is web/intranet based and which is able to deliver material such as white papers and web-based learning courses.
It costs 2,750 GBP on a yearly licence for a whole organisation - irrespective of the number of users - and can be upgraded to Trainer1's knowledge management tool, Argonaut, should purchasers want to track the use made of the system.
