Midlands office

Rapid product development seminars announced
3T RPD's Telford Sales Office has moved to new premises at and recently held their first Rapid Product Development Seminar there, dates of future seminars are included at the end of this item.
Following the recent opening of a sales office in Telford, Shropshire, to strengthen presence in the North and Midlands regions, Adrian West has joined 3T as Technical Sales Engineer to concentrate on developing business in the Southern region.
Based in Newbury and with an excellent knowledge of the South of England, Adrian has 10 years technical experience in business to business sales, mainly in the electronic and mechanical sectors.
Paul Edwards, Business Development Manager, is now permanently based at the offices in Telford, which are just half a mile from the town centre, within walking distance of Telford Central Railway Station, and just minutes from the M54 Junctions 4 and 5.
It is intended to expand upon the existing programme of training seminars by holding future events in Telford, thereby making them accessible to more of 3T's customers.
With the latest acquisition of an EOS P700 Laser Sintering machine at the facility in Newbury, this further consolidates 3T's commitment to the Rapid Prototyping industry and supports moves made earlier this year to focus on their core business activity.
The P700 will allow the vast majority of parts to be built in a single piece, with a build volume of 700 x 380 x 580mm.
The build speed of the twin laser system will also have a beneficial impact on delivery times and allow even the largest jobs currently considered to be shipped within 7 days.
