Rapid product development seminars

Selective laser sintering for auto components
3T RPD has used selective laser sintering technology to manufacture two component housings in glass-filled nylon for the Oxford Brookes race car.
In a highly significant development for vocational training in the polymer industry, PTL has gained approval from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to become a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE).
The decision means a significant investment by the LSC into training at PTL which, in the future, may be expanded to include Rapid Prototyping.
By being onsite at PTL, 3T are in a perfect position to offer their experience in this field.
Paul Edwards, 3T's Sales and Marketing Manager, is permanently based at the Telford office and says "The move to PTL reinforces our position in the North and Midlands, and signifies further our commitment to developing new business and supporting our customers in these regions." He adds, "PTL's facilities are superb and provide the perfect venue for our training seminars.

Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems-Components Europe B.V (SEWS-CE B.V), a tier one global supplier of automotive wiring systems and associated components to vehicle manufacturers throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and America, sent three of their Project Engineers to the recent Rapid Product Development Seminar in Telford.
