3T are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Ian Halliday as their CEO, who has extensive experience in the rapid prototyping and tooling field, including the set-up RP and T facilities.

3T are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Ian Halliday as their CEO Ian has extensive experience in the rapid prototyping and tooling field, including the set-up and management of a number of highly-rated RP and T facilities both in the UK and Europe

In addition to his technical and managerial capabilities, Ian has an in-depth understanding of the business and strategic implications of e-Manufacturing.

His knowledge and experience will therefore enable 3T and their customers to maximise the benefits from both Rapid Prototyping and e-Manufacturing.

3T operates the largest laser sintering capability in the UK and the company has established itself as one of the top three laser sintering service bureaus worldwide.

As the drive towards e-Manufacturing accelerates, laser sintering is considered the key technology for fast, flexible and cost-effective production of end-use parts directly from electronic data.
