The JHW250 series power modules are isolated DC-DC convertors that operate over a wide input voltage range of 36 to 75 Vdc and provide a single, precisely regulated output of 30.2V.
These modules incorporate synchronous rectification technology and innovative packaging techniques to achieve ultra high efficiency - typically 92% at 30.2V with full load.
The 5-sided encapsulated case package allows for excellent performance in a strict, thermal environment.
The output is fully isolated, allowing versatile polarity configurations and grounding connections.
In addition, the built-in filtering for both input and output minimises the need for external filtering.
The JHW250 series is rated for a wide operating temperature range of -40C to 85C in an industry standard half-brick package of 57.9 mm x 61.0 mm x 12.7 mm (2.28 in x 2.4 in x 0.5in).
Standard features include: remote on/off, remote sense, low output ripple and noise, over-temperature protection, 2:1 input voltage range, output overcurrent/voltage protection, and output voltage adjustment.
Threaded or non-threaded through-holes are available to allow for easy mounting to a cold wall; or the addition of a heatsink may be used for high-temperature applications.
The convertors are designed to be fully compliant to RoHS EU Directive 2002/95/EC and to be used at ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facilities. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics ...
