Latest Europe-wide developments in sheet metal handling, forming, welding and finishing will be shown at the Italian 'Lamiera' event in Bologna, in May 2006.
From 10 to 13 May 2006, the exhibition halls of Bologna will host the thirteenth edition of Lamiera, the show promoted by UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre to offer the opportunity to define new, more profitable technical-commercial relationships to manufacturers and end-users of metal-forming machines Capable of proposing, every two years, an exhaustive synthesis of the most qualified world offer, projects with particular technological contents and conferences of great interest for the sector, Lamiera has affirmed its role as a meeting occasion that cannot be missed by manufacturers and end-users, who have participated more and more in this event

Bi-Mu show covers latest machine tools
This year's Italian machine tool and production equipment show - the Bi-Mu - will take place in Milan's new exhibition centre located on the outskirts of the city.
In the 2004 edition, despite the difficulties caused in the sector by the crisis of international economy, 581 enterprises were present on an exhibition surface of more than 25,000m2.
Besides a wide Italian participation, particularly strengthened attendances were those from Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Sweden, USA, France, Great Britain, Spain and Turkey.
There were also manufacturers from Japan, Austria, Finland, Belgium, China, Denmark, Ireland, Israel, Monaco, Poland and Portugal.

Some 400 companies have registered for stands at the forthcoming Italian sheet metal work and fabrication show, Lamiera 2006, from Europe, Middle east and the USA.

Providing access to a broad spectrum of engineering information - research grants and academic publications through to business and product news - www.cyana.co.uk website is on-line.
Among the almost 23,000 visitors, representing 24 countries, that crowded Lamiera, there were also operators from France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and Hungary, invited by UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre and ICE (Italian Institute for Foreign Trade) to attend a series of special meetings with Italian exhibitors.
The impressive evolutionary trend of the show will be confirmed by its thirteenth edition that will benefit from an availability of exhibition pavilions granting the possibility to optimise the presentation of products and enabling to activate, besides the traditional 'Michelino' entrance, also the 'Nord' entrance.
The promotion of the exhibition will be carried out through a series of initiatives that, developing synergically, will be able to attract the interest for this event of the whole universe of end-users of buckling machines.
In particular, the advertising campaign will be developed through insertions and advertising - editorial articles, published in the most qualified Italian and foreign specialized magazines of the sector starting from the end of 2005.
Journalists of the most important publishers from France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden and Turkey will be visiting Lamiera, as well as the operators of the most important user-countries, invited to take part in special meetings with Italian exhibitors as guests of UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre and ICE.
A pre-registration is possible through the exhibition website (www.lamiera.net), allowing visitors to receive a free permanent entrance card at the selected address (home address or welcome desk at the exhibition reception).
This opportunity will be valid from 20 February to 3 May 2006.
Financing plans for participation costs at extremely favourable rates are available for Italian exhibitors.
