Single sourced valves help reduce costs

A valve and process equipment supplier can help all production industries that are seeking ways of increasing output while at the same time reducing costs by sourcing and modifying stock items.

After more than 20 years experience of supplying valves and process control equipment I know that today, more than at any other time in the past, all production industries are seeking ways of increasing output while at the same time reducing costs.

We can help them achieve this by sourcing stock valves and components and carrying out modifications necessary to meet specific requirements, says UFB Managing Director, Alan Leonard.

While other stockists and distributors invest heavily, and we must bear in mind that this capital expenditure has to be recouped from somewhere, we at UFB will remain focused on keeping overheads as low as possible and pass the resultant cost savings on to our clients.

This will be achieved through our association with already well established, recognised and respected organisations allowing us to offer high quality products competitively priced on short lead times, he adds.

UFB, through these associations, has access to a large stock holding of all valve types including hygienic equipment and components.

The facilities for actuation, the manufacture and fitting of heating jackets and locking systems as well as valve trim changes including hard facing, alloy overlays and ENP coating are also available.

Modifications to suit cryogenic and arduous service conditions can also be accommodated as can the pressure, low temperature and function testing of the completed components.
