in 2005

Managing Director, Lawrence Jones believes a 151% increase in dedicated server clients shows that businesses are now prioritising the Web in their long term plans.
"The financial benefit of the Web has definitely hit home and the likes of media giant Sky, premiere optician Dollond and Aitchison and Web travel leader skybargains.com have joined UKFast in the last year for our online expertise." Jones believes this is the most exciting time in the Net's history.
"The high street just experienced another disappointing Christmas, while savvy UK businesses are competing for the top positions Online".
"The Internet growth across all sectors has been simply phenomenal in 2005 - and the revolution has only just begun." This revolution is facilitated by new technologies that allow individual businesses to compete with the likes of Amazon and Travelocity.
The best news is that they have become affordable enough for any UK company to enter the market without breaking the bank - fantastic for the national economy.
Jones also believes that UKFast's location in the UK's second IT city has been a draw for many businesses.
"Hosting outside of the nations capital has been a priority for many in 2005 due to both cost and reliability".
"Interestingly, it's not only regional businesses keeping close to their solutions, but London based companies moving their resources to Manchester." UKFast is the ISPA's Best Hosting Provider 2005 and was voted the Best Business ISP 2004 by readers of Future Publishing's Internet magazines.
