Colgar appoints UK agent for sheet metal

UK Machine Tools has been appointed as agents for Colgar for the UK, for their press brakes, mechanical and hydraulic guillotines, press brake tooling range and their Cimsa range.

UK Machine Tools has been appointed as agents for Colgar for the UK, for their press brakes, mechanical and hydraulic guillotines, press brake tooling range and their Cimsa range of automatic punching folding and shearing lines Colgar Spa, have 58 years of manufacturing experience and now have a global user base

One of Italy's premier design and manufacturing companies they operate from two sites close to Milan and Venice in over 90,000 square metres, with over 250 personnel employed.

Their range of Press Brakes run from 320kN to 30MN with bending lengths up to 12 metres, multi axis capability combined with Cybelec or Delem controls and a range of angle correction and robotic handling systems make Colgar a formidable force in metal forming.

Guillotines come in Mechanical or Hydraulic form, shearing from 3mm to 45mm materials, up to 12 metres in length.

Automation is also available with some of the most sophisticated shearing systems in production in the UK and across Europe.

Machines can be supplied with any tooling format to suit the customers existing stock, and tooling for a wide range of machines can also be supplied by UKMT, i.e Universal, Axial etc Colgar having already impressed UK customers with their support capability, this combined with UKMT's support, will give customers fast and efficient response to all requests, and engineers on site within 24 hrs if required.

In 1970 Colgar also moved into the design and manufacture of high accuracy Milling and Boring machines, this was a highly successful strategy and are now one of the world leaders in this range of machines.

Cimsa a division of Colgar, have a wide range of automated punching, shearing and folding lines for high batch high production environments,.
