Entries for this year's awards close on 27 April 2007.
Individuals working in the manufacturing sector are also encouraged to enter if training led to exceptional results in their lives or businesses.
Last year's winners included Flexible Lamps , for training to change a production line into multi-skilled teams and Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) , for training their manufacturing staff and team leaders.
The National Training Awards are run on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills by UK Skills, a not for profit organisation which champions vocational skills and learning for work.
UK Skills provides support to entrants including telephone mentoring and half-day workshops which are held throughout the UK between February and April.
UK Skills chief executive Jacqui Henderson CBE says one of the reasons the awards are so well acknowledged is because of the exceptional quality of entrants every year.
"A National Training Award is one of the most respected and recognised accolades in the learning and skills sector.
The standard of entries last year was extremely high, and I look forward to celebrating the benefits of some truly exceptional examples of training and development in 2007." Anyone and any organisation can enter the National Training Awards.
Previous entrants include charities, individuals, multi-national companies, volunteers and the self-employed.
