Among a range of tool and cutter grinders is a 5-axis CNC version introduced, which covers a multitude of re-sharpening applications and production of specific tools.

The Reinecker range of high-performance tool grinding machines are now available in the UK under a new sole agency agreement between Sheffield-based, Ian Bufton Design and Development, and the German manufacturer, Ulmer Werkzeugschleiftechnik, Ulm Reinecker tool and cutter grinding machines, are marketed worldwide and incorporate the very latest technology for the production of tungsten carbide and HSS cutting tools, including an extensive range of options according to customers' specific requirements

Under the new UK arrangement, full expert technical support is provided before and after sales.

Models which distinguish themselves in particular include: the WZS 40, a 5-axis version introduced in 2005, covering a multitude of re-sharpening applications and production of specific tools; the SF 40 introduced in 2004 for end processing and preparation for the most diverse range of tool blanks; and last but not least, the WZS 60, incorporating a new kinematic principle which introduced completely new criteria for flexible tool production.

Ease of control and high performance are ensured thanks to the NUM AXIUM power CNC control system with its entirely digital DISC NT.

The graphic control surface NUMROTOplus ranks high in the industry standard and ensures simple and fast program preparation and process simulation.
