Form fill and seal flow-wrapper orders repeated
Horizontal form fill and seal flow-wrappers for packing a range of branded cosmetic products are packing between 30,000 and 50,000 units/day.
Vacuum bags are formed around the product with a full hermetic seal, eliminating the need to stock multiple bag sizes and reduces film wastage.
The Cryovac barrier film unwinds off the reel as the product moves into the longitudinal seal head system thereby avoiding the seal becoming contaminated from the actual food product.
Also first time exhibited at Foodex/Meatex is a Pacific variant which allows the versatility of conventional flow wrapping and the use of barrier shrink wrap.
The high speed machine, with the option of MAP, is ideal for wrapping a variety of food items including cheese, meat, fish, sausages and poultry - in fact almost any product where extended shelf life and a high quality shrink appearance are important factors.
Also on show will be Ulma's impressive TF Optima thermoforming machine which is the ideal solution for packing a range of food items including meat, poultry and cheese, with optional vacuum and MAP systems available.
The Optima benefits from a host of advanced features and is both versatile and easy to use.
The modular concept enables the machine to be adapted to each customer's specific requirements depending on the product to be packed and the type of material being used.
It is also the ideal choice for applications which require larger dimensions in film advance, film width and package depth.
Made to the highest standards with corrosion resistant materials and a stainless steel frame, it is simple to clean and maintain.
The machine is very easy to operate from a rotating control panel and features a touch screen which provides the operator with information on temperature, operation diagnosis and allows for the storage of up to 99 programmes.
Ulma Packaging's director Derek Paterson says: "Ulma are committed to providing quality packaging solutions to UK customers, and we are pleased that we will have such an impressive line-up of machines on show.
We have an excellent product offer, combined with a high level of technical expertise and unrivalled after sales support.".
