A highly versatile mid range thermo-forming machine suitable for medium volume production, which can handle flexible or rigid base film up to a 700 micron.

Ulma Packaging , one of Europe's leading manufacturers of packaging equipment will have an impressive line up of machines on display at this years PPMA show Alongside several of the company's best sellers will be a number of new machines making their UK debut, and UIma is confident they will attract a lot of attention

Amongst the new machines on show will be the highly versatile TF Supra, a mid range thermo-forming machine suitable for medium volume production.

It can handle flexible or rigid base film up to a 700 micron and is of a modular design enabling numerous configurations including a longer loading area, additional cutting stations and pre heaters if required.

It is suitable for a wide range of applications - food, non-food and medical.

Its versatility combined with a competitive price is sure to appeal to many.

Another of Ulma's latest innovations - the Artic - will be on display for the first time in the UK.

Designed to pack fresh food products with modified atmosphere, the Artic is an ideal choice for a wide range of produce including fresh or processed meat, poultry, pizza, fish, pasta or cheese.

Using a specially designed long dwell sealing head ensures a perfect hermetic seal even at high production speeds.

The Artic also benefits from state-of-the-art electronic technology to make it one of the best choices on the market for this sector.

One of Ulma's latest traysealers, the compact Smart 300, will also be launched at PPMA.

Amongst Ulma's established machines the popular Etna Hi Tech will be shown.

This vertical packing machine is suitable for a wide range of food and non food applications, including vegetables, grains, powders, and snacks.

It has proven a great success throughout the UK with customers who have appreciated its robust construction, compact size and mechanical reliability.

Ulma will be conducting regular live demonstrations of the ETNA combined with a Multi-head weigher/depositor.

Ease of use has been designed into the Etna with an interactive user interface with a touch screen, allowing quick format changes and self diagnosis.

Also on display will be the Atlanta Hi Tech, a horizontal flowrapper, suitable for medium to high levels of production.

It is easily incorporated into automatic packing lines and can accommodate a wide range of automatic and semi automatic feeders.
