Ultrasonic Scientific Launches New Htp Instrument
Ultrasonic Scientific introduces its first major product launch of the year with its new HR-US HTP High Through Put Spectrometer.
Being launched on booth 2799 will be Ultrasonic Scientific's HR-US Pressurizing System, which provides pressurization of analyzed samples.
The unit has an internal compressor delivering a desired pressure to each of two cells of HR-US spectrometers.
Cells can be pressurized independently or simultaneously for differential measurements and two individual pressure outlet lines allow the user to set different pressures in each cell if required.

Award winning pioneer in ultrasonic technology, Ultrasonic Scientific, has announced the introduction of a new free technical application note, outlining the direct monitoring of biochemical reactions
The HR-US Pressurizing System is a powerful tool for customers who need to analyze samples at pressures above 1 atmosphere.
This means that the system can be used to analyze bubble suppression, liquids with low boiling points, solubility of gases and gas bubbles in liquids.
Ultrasonic Scientific will also feature the Titration Accessory on booth 2799, which allows enhanced analysis of intermolecular interactions, ligand binding, aggregation processes, gelation and phase transitions amongst others.
The Titration Accessory enables measurement of the associated microstructural and molecular rearrangements in the sample and allows precision change in concentration of selected chemical components in the ultrasonic cell.
With the Titration Accessory, titrations are performed automatically by computer control whilst a powerful stirring option permits a quick and homogenous mixing of titrant and analyte.
In addition, Ultrasonic Scientific will demonstrate its versatile HR-US 102 P high-resolution spectrometer, which offers the flexibility of using the HR-US 102 with a full complement of external cell modules.
The 102 P operates with a standard liquid cell, a cell for semi-solids and a cell for flow measurements.
These modules offer even greater flexibility for material analysis and are ideal for Research and Development and Quality Analysis/Quality Control applications in food, pharmaceutical, personal care and polymer industries.
The complete range of "P" version spectrometers includes: HR-US 102-P- Ultrasonic Spectrometer with liquid cell and external module interface; HR-US 102 SS-P - Ultrasonic Spectrometer with semi solid cell and external module interface; and HR-US 102 FT-P- Ultrasonic Spectrometer with flow through cell and external module interface.
The HR-US 102 P can analyze food products such as milk, fruit juices, beer, etc without the need for dilution or addition of chemical markers.
This is as a result of its ability to analyze optically opaque systems.
The instrument's impressive dynamic range allows for the analysis of liquids, concentrated emulsion, and hard gels, and has been extensively used in the monitoring of gelling processes (yogurts, thermal induced starch etc) and crystallization in oils/fats.
Other applications where the HR-US 102 has being incorporated into the food industry is the monitoring of enzyme activity in foods, coagulation in milk based drinks, composition analysis, sedimentation processes and surfactant/micelle analysis.
The HR-US technique's broad range of applications and non-destructive/non-invasive nature makes it an ideal tool for use in the food research and food processing sectors.
