As well as offering high-speed communications for improved performance, the SERCOS interface reduces installation costs by replacing the conventional mass of wiring with a single optical cable, and provides an inherently more reliable solution that is completely immune to electrical noise.
Designed for operation from a 120V or 240V AC line, the PC800 series offers output powers ranging from 500 to 1500W, whilst the PCE800 drives operate from a 380-480V AC line and offer output powers from 1500 to 5000W.
With an optional fan kit, continuous currents can be increased by 50%.
The inclusion of advanced anti-resonance filters makes the servos ideal for use in complex mechanical systems.
All servos in the range build in PLC-like functionality, and offer a variety of digital and analogue I/O for maximum application flexibility.
In addition, all models offer both resolver feedback and Hall/encoder feedback inputs.
To complete the package, Unimatic offers two ranges of servo motors carefully matched to the PC/PCE800 series servo drives.
Coupling the drives with the Pacific Scientific PMA series and S series brushless servo motors typically results in higher performance and efficiency, delivery more continuous usuable torque.
