Small weathering chambers test materials
Unitemp has introduced a range of low cost test chambers for the simulation of primarily of weather exposure on materials, plastics and metals.
Designated the TSD-100 it has outstanding thermal distribution characteristics for a wide range of uses from research and development to inspection and production.
It is capable of taking larger products or batches of up to 10kg.
The test area hot exposure temperature range is +60 to 200 deg C, with cold exposure range temperature range of -65 to 0 deg C.
The TSD - 100 is constructed inside and out with stainless steel and has inside dimensions of 710 x 410 x 345 mm.
Incorporated is a door mounted controller with a touchscreen LCD for ease of operation and setting.
It allows the the user to control as indicated by screen instructions and allows instant confirmation of test patterns, with test area temperatures etc Included is a specimen temperature trigger (STT) function, which actively monitors the temperature of the product and only advances the program to the next step once the product reaches the desired temperature.
Optional extras include paperless recorder with colour display and compactflash storage, strip chart recorder, computer interface (IEEE-488 or RS-232).
Also a viewing window, additional STT thermocouple inputs and additional flexible cable tube.
This unit complements Unitemps extensive range of test chambers and they have the expertise to provide 'specials' to customer requirements.
These versatile products have applications in the electronics, engineering, laboratory, process and manufacturing industries.
