Miyachi Unitek has announced the availability of a fine laser cutting system with up to five axes of precision multi-axis motion and advanced software control features.
A position-based firing laser control algorithm enables precise pulsing overlap to be maintained during multiple linear- and rotary-axis coordinated motion.
The system configuration is suitable for cutting medical tubes for a variety of applications.
The company will exhibit its five-axis laser cutting system at the MDandM West trade show, which is scheduled to take place on 9-11 February 2010 in Anaheim, California.
