More companies join UKIVA
UKIVA has welcomed four new members, FLIR systems , Schneider Electric UK , V Cubed and Imperx, bringing the number of new members joining the association this year to nine.
The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) is delighted to welcome four new members, FLIR systems , Schneider Electric UK , V Cubed and Imperx These companies reflect some of the breadth of the use of vision throughout manufacturing industry and bring to nine the number of new members joining the Association in the past year

FLIR Systems is part of FLIR Systems Inc which has offices worldwide.
The company is well known for the design and manufacture of thermal imaging and camera systems for commercial and government applications.
These include condition monitoring, manufacturing process control, machine vision, environmental monitoring and ground-based security.
Schneider Electric UK is part of Schneider SA and offers the Telemecanique compact vision system which can be configured via a simple 8-position joystick controller.
The vision systems integrate fully with Telemecanique brand automation system configurations.
Applications include a wide variety of measurement and positioning tasks in the food and beverage, electronics and mechanical engineering sectors.
V Cubed is a specialist in vision system integration.
In addition to its broad skill-base, V Cubed offers particular expertise in vision systems, vision based products, embedded solutions and systems based on National Instruments toolsets and hardware.
Imperx designs, develops and manufactures state-of-the-art imaging products for the machine vision, medical, defense, surveillance, law enforcement, and research markets.
It has become known for its ability to provide custom complete solutions.
The company developed a complete imaging solution for use on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles tested and deployed by the U.S.
Office of Naval Research and NAVSEA.
UKIVA Director, Don Braggins, commented: "There is now an astonishing number of industrial products that rely on vision systems to a greater or lesser degree.
It is clear that the technological developments of recent years in camera technology, camera interfacing technology, and illumination systems and lenses especially for machine vision applications has made a huge impact".
