Janam's Palm based XP PDA's offer customers a choice of mono or colour screen.

Varlink, the York based Mobile Computer distributor, has announced the addition of new US Manufacturer Janam to its line up of manufacturers.

Janam's XP Series rugged mobile computers combine the benefits of Palm Operating System with extended functionality which today's mobile applications demand.

Mike Pullon, Varlink MD, commented "Janam's Palm based XP PDA's offer our resellers the opportunity to provide their customers with the choice of mono or colour screen, 1 or 2D scanning, WiFi and Bluetooth communications and PDA or numeric keypads - all at outstanding price points".

"I believe that the inclusion of Janam's products to our range will help us maintain our ability to provide our resellers with the products they need to meet their customers' requirements for reliable, yet cost effective hand held computers".

"Forming a partnership with Varlink is an important step in our global distribution strategy," said Harry Lerner, Co-CEO of Janam.

"Varlink's industry knowledge coupled with their strong commitment to customers adds tremendous value to our distribution capabilities in the UK and Ireland".
