A historical tool design function, cooling hole and improved layer management, new splitline manager, dynamic face/edge and a new model comparison module feature latest CAD/CAM software.

At the GTMA's 'Driving productivity through technology' seminar being held at Seco Tools (UK) on October 7th, Vero International Software will be offering visitors the opportunity for live demonstrations of its newest Release 11 of the VISI-Series CAD/CAM software solution along with the very latest version of its upgraded machining STRATEGIST high speed machining software The event - open from 9.30am, is being held in the Seco Technical Centre in Kinwarton Farm Road, Alcester, Warwickshire

Vero have a dedicated demonstration suite for the day and skilled CAD/CAM design and programming personnel will be on hand to provide one-to-one demonstrations.

Among the new features in the latest VISI-Series release 11 are a historical tool design function, new cooling hole management, improved layer management, new splitline manager, dynamic face/edge and a new model comparison module.

All of these features further enhance VISI-Series' capabilities as an end-to-end solution for the mould and die markets.

All build upon VISI-Series' acknowledged strengths of full CAD/CAM process capability while retaining a flexible, modular approach.

The continued development of VISI-Series complements Vero's accelerated development of its machining STRATEGIST High Speed Machining software solution.

The recent Release 6 of machining STRATEGIST saw the introduction of some 33 new features including the introduction of three new roughing strategies - core, raster and flank - the optimisation of the cross machining strategy to eliminate 'air cutting' on the second toolpath and significant improvements in the drilling module.
