Ultra-violet emitters disinfect clean
areas
A range of ultra-violet emitters has been developed as an air cleaning system for all areas of food processing plants and many other areas where air within a room has to be disinfected.

Available in 36W single ultra-violet element and 72W twin ultra-violet element form, the unit draws air in and the flow is then reduced so that it passes over the ultra-violet elements slowly for maximum disinfection efficiency before being discharged back into the room.
Filters also remove particulates.
A single unit will cover about 95m3 but multiple installations will cope with bigger areas such as large food processing lines.
Each Bacticlean measures approximately 150mm deep x 390mm high x 460mm wide.
Victory can also supply separate ultra-violet emitters, including waterproof units, for numerous applications that require a germicidal effect.
Typical uses are in hospitals, clinics, schools, kitchens, laboratories and aquatic situations.
The lamps can efficiently emit ultra-violet light (253.7nm) because they contain low-pressure mercury vapour.
Also the glass used provides the ideal transmission qualities at the correct wavelength for maximum disinfection.
Several types are available including tubular double ended with a ceramic base and providing about 8000h lamp life and single ended double tube for covering larger areas, all fitting industry standard sockets.
Wattages range from 4 to 55W and base fitting include G5, G13, G23 and 2G11.
Lamp lengths are from 107mm to 1199mm, depending on model, and diameters range from 13mm to 25mm.
However, different sizes can be designed and manufactured to order.
