E-Z-GO Selects Visiprise Manufacturing

Golf car builder E-Z-GO selects Visiprise Manufacturing for an integrated communications channel between factory floor and enterprise applications.

Visiprise, a recognized leader in helping manufacturers manage and control global operations to improve product quality and compliance, today announced that E-Z-GO, the manufacturer of the number 1 golf car in the world, has selected Visiprise Manufacturing for use in its manufacturing operations.

Following a multiple-month evaluation of the latest in manufacturing execution systems (MES), Visiprise Manufacturing was selected as the company's new MES technology.

E-Z-GO will use Visiprise Manufacturing as a platform that will enable the creation of a complete communications channel between the shop floor and other key manufactuing functions such as materials management, quality control and plant management.

The goal of the project is to operate a collaborative shop floor to enterprise application system that will enable E-Z-GO to achieve unprecedented manufacturing efficiencies.

Visiprise Manufacturing will be vital in facilitating parts to point-of-use and parts on the line-to-customer order sequencing, corrective action management, and force control and stop process administration.

In addition, the integrated solution will deliver visual management cues, traceability for key component parts, data gathering on critical characteristics, and collection and manipulation of data for use by operations and support functions.
