The platform-independent, Java J2EE solution integrates with Visiprise Manufacturing and Visiprise Shop Floor Management as well as legacy systems for a complete real-time execution scheduling solution.
"MetalTek was looking to improve its legacy scheduling solution," said Robert Consoli, vice president of worldwide sales for Visiprise.
"The company needed a product that could enhance its shop floor functionality and that spanned across all its business units".

MetalTek produces heat wear and corrosion-resistant parts for various industries including petrochemical, turbine engine and defence.
The Visiprise solution will start implementation in the Pevely, Missouri and Waukesha, Wisconsin facilities in August.
"We wanted a flexible, high-quality solution that could improve our manufacturing production and be rapidly deployed into our current facilities," said E Kubick, vice president of manufacturing for MetalTek.
