Integrating the shop floor earns SAP certification

Visiprise ERP Shop Floor Integration 1.0 exploits SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence application and SAP NetWeaver platform for integration, visualisation and analytics.

Visiprise, a leader in integrated manufacturing operations solutions and a provider of an SAP- endorsed business solution, has announced its Visiprise ERP Shop Floor Integration 1.0 packaged composite application has achieved "SAP xApps Certified - Powered by SAP NetWeaver" status.

With the certified integration, Visiprise customers will experience expanded flexibility and enhanced performance.

Visiprise ERP Shop Floor Integration 1.0 provides users a consistent, reusable link between enterprise business solutions and shop floor systems exploiting the SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) composite application and the SAP NetWeaver platform for integration, visualization and analytics.

Using Visiprise ERP Shop Floor Integration 1.0, customers will benefit from an intelligent end-to-end solution, a lower total cost of ownership and the ability to receive automatic product updates for Visiprise and SAP solutions.

Visiprise ERP Shop Floor Integration runs on the SAP NetWeaver platform.

Visiprise achieved SAP certified integration by demonstrating that its packaged composite application meets all of the technical and business criteria established by SAP for its SAP xApps Certified status.

Through SAP xApps Certified status, partners and ISVs like Visiprise deliver on the promise of enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) following the principles and standards of SAP's composite architectural guidelines.

Composite applications that are certified by the SAP Integration and Certification centre reuse, integrate and orchestrate functionalities from existing application assets in the context of an enterprise SOA, with only selective development of new functionality where needed to fill gaps.

A composite application provides new application functionality, supports analysis followed by action (other than mere read-only views), and enables the execution of business processes from start to finish.

It has the potential of repeatable deliveries to multiple customers.

This latest achievement builds on Visiprise's long- standing relationship with SAP.

In January Visiprise's flagship product, Visiprise Manufacturing, was named an SAP-endorsed business solution.

Additionally, in 2006 SAP made an investment in Visiprise from its global SAP NetWeaver Fund.
