With interest in cider growing rapidly amongst consumers, Intercontinental Brands of Harrogate (UK) has launched a pear based cider drink, St Helier Pear Cider The cider will be marketed to cider drinkers, rather than traditional perry drinkers
Sold in 500ml bottles, Intercontinental Brands has chosen Viscose Closures of Crawley (UK) to provide printed crown caps for the product.
"The support provided by Viscose Closures' local representative is excellent," explained Hasu Dhanani, managing director at Intercontinental Brands, "and we had no hesitation in asking the company to supply us with crowns." St Helier Pear Cider is produced in Jersey and bottled under licence for Intercontinental Brands.
