Hot and chilli

A Viscose Closures product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Feb 2, 2007

Viscose Closures of Crawley were recently approached by the South Devon Chilli Farm to help improve the look of their bottled chilli sauces.

Made without preservatives or any other artificial ingredients, the sauces are one of a range of products created from the one million chillies harvested by South Devon Chilli Farm in 2006.

Viscose Closures recommended using a black gloss PVC capsule over the cap.

The capsules are heat-shrinkable and incorporate a vertical tear tab for easy removal.

"We found Viscose Closures very helpful in establishing the best capsule for our requirements," confirmed Steve Waters at South Devon Chilli Farm, "And we are delighted with the end result.

Viscose Closures are finding interest in both plain and printed capsules from an ever-widening range of food and non-alcoholic beverage producers looking for tamper evidence combined with a professional finish.
