Motion 29 adds Patlite signal tower to its range

Motion 29, a Wales-based industrial solutions supplier, has added an MP3-compatible signal tower - the LKEH - from Patlite to its existing product offering.

The company partners with Patlite, a Japanese manufacturer of information display devices, for its range of signal light towers and audible alarms.

This latest product is intended to be used when a warning light is needed in addition to a spoken voice for an ultra-clear warning.

The LKEH has an adjustable volume of up to 105dB at 1m and, owing to its ultra-bright light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and 100mm-diameter lens, achieves good visibility from long distances, such as in a large factory or workspace.

The product is claimed to be energy efficient, consuming less power than an incandescent bulb, and maintenance free.

The LKEH also provides an option for users to record their own messages or to use one of the 32 pre-installed sounds; options range from a standard chime to a synthesised 'I don't want to miss a thing', allowing personnel to respond to sight as well as sound.

Steve Fisher, director at Motion 29, said: 'The LKEH is designed to increase productivity and eliminate downtime.

'When a glitch in your machinery can have a serious impact on your turnover, spending less than GBP380 on the LKEH is a wise investment,' he added.
