The Frost and Sullivan Award for Technology of the Year is presented to a company that has introduced a technology that has brought innovative capabilities, influence and strategic impact to several markets.

The Award is judged by a panel of international experts against six specific criteria including the adoption by, and impact of the new technology on global industries; the company's ability to deliver this new technology to the market and market share growth achieved as a result.

The 2005 Performance Materials Technology of the Year Award acknowledges the ongoing contribution that RenShape and Huntsman Advanced Materials have made to product development for more than 30 years, in effect creating the world's synthetic tooling market.
