* Complete processing in one single clamping - the CNC CL 200 grinding machine completely processes of TC-tipped circular saw blades 80-840mm diameter.
The CL 200 precisely machines clearance surface, hook surface, as well as tool body, in one clamping and uses a highly flexible grinding wheel assembly.
The grinding wheels include an additional grinding aggregate for hollow face teeth.
With these features, Vollmer told manufacturingtalk that the CL 200 provides a practical solution for sharpening services in connection with a measuring system that guarantees the highest precision.
With the feed pawl, the CL 200 recognizes the tooth pitch and any possible broken tooth.
If a tooth is broken, it is not machined on the tooth face in order to prevent damage to the grinding wheel.
All common tooth shapes are processed in one pass, and tooth repair recognition automatically occurs via the measuring system.
Newly replaced teeth are sharpened in an oscillating fashion, in one pass, together with the resharpening of the other teeth.
* Flexible, compact, and robust - thanks to the flexible tool administration, various grinding wheels can be prepared, depending on the application.
The compact and robust machine structure of the CL 200 provides stability and requires little space.
The control cabinet, cooling pump, pneumatics, and the fire extinguishing unit are all easily accessible.
The chairman of Vollmer management, Siegfried Knuepfer, said: "Vollmer has developed the CL 200 especially for small and medium sized sharpening services and for sawmills.
Our new technological solution is supplemented by an extensive range of commercial and technical services.
These include consultation, trial machining jobs, training of employees, financing planning, and maintenance and repair works".
