Turned parts completely machined at high speed

An Ultra Precision product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 21, 2003

Turned parts specialist has modified Tornos MS7 lathes with automatic bar feeders for high volume production with rotary transfer machines available to finish components at high speed.

Ultra Precision of Switzerland uses Swiss sliding head machines to make parts for the Connector industry.

The conventional machines used are specially modified Tornos MS7 with automatic bar feeders for high volume production with rotary transfer machines available to finish components at high speed.

ALBE rotary transfer machines are available for very high volume production of suitable components.

Recent additions include CNC machines, ready to finish the parts on the machines.

All designs can be manufactured to customer drawings to suit their application.

Contacts can be supplied in most materials, logo-marked, heat-treated, selectively zone-annealed, plated and assembled with deep-drawn hoods if required.

The technology used can be easily adapted for other industries and Ultra Precision are actively seeking new products and new markets for their manufacturing capabilities.
