Episcopic illuminator for the inspection of bore and blind holes gives users an extremely comfortable ergonomic advantage, especially when inspecting plastics parts for long periods.

The Mantis Elite from Vision Engineering now benefits from an episcopic (through the lens) illuminator giving engineers the ability to inspect complex features like bores and blind holes.

The Mantis stereo inspection system from Vision Engineering is used worldwide for the inspection and manipulation of plastic and mechanical components.

The expanded eyepiece (patented) technology gives users an extremely comfortable ergonomic advantage, especially when inspecting plastics parts for long periods.

The NEW episcopic illuminator is designed to provide a solution to operators requiring the Mantis to inspect complex features like bores or blind holes.

It can be quite challenging to inspect holes and more complex features using stereo inspection but the episcopic accessory allows for the sides of the holes to be inspected for defects like flash, being particularly important where the components are more critical, such as medical devices.

With the ability to use the episcopic illuminator accessory with a variety of magnification objectives including x4, x6, x8 and x10, the versatility is greatly increased so a variety of components can be inspected under the viewer.
