Silver Q accolade won by Spanish m/c

For the first time, the European Foundation for Quality Management has awarded its Silver Q quality management accolade to a machine tool builder - Soraluce in Spain.
Soraluce of Spain, the world-leading manufacturer of high-performance travelling-column, travelling-table and floor- and bed-type milling centres handled exclusively in the UK by Ward CNC of Sheffield (www.wardcnc.com), has been awarded the Silver Q quality management accolade by the European Foundation for Quality Management The award - the first time the prize has been awarded to a machine tool company by the Basque Quality Foundation, Euskalit - follows exhaustive analysis by the assessment team of various aspects of Soraluce's management processes and is in recognition of a series of improvement processes
