The Takisawa Taiwan EX-322 turning centre is the latest model in the comprehensive Takisawa Taiwan range, and it reinforces how the machines demonstrate 'Japanese quality at Taiwanese prices'

The EX-322 - a three-axis version of the highly successful EX-122/H - boasts C axis and driven tools, and its outline specification includes a swing over the bed of 750mm, over the cross-slide of 560mm and a distance between centres of 1,820mm.

Standard turning diameter is 450mm, maximum turning diameter is 610mm and maximum turning length is 1,530mm.

Capable of handling 184mm diameter bar and with a 10-station driven tool automatic indexing turret, the machine has a spindle speed of 12-1,200 revs/min from the 30/37kW main spindle motor, coupled with traverse rates in X and Z axes of 18 and 22m/min, respectively.

Fanuc 21iT CNC features, with Manual Guide programming system.

See the all-new Takisawa Taiwan EX-322 at MACH 2008 from 21-25 April at the NEC in Birmingham, in Hall 5 on stand 5250.
