Calypso waterjet uses Wardjet X-Series controller

ACS Precision has retrofitted its Calypso waterjet with a Wardjet X-Series controller.

The high-tech graphics and split touch screen of the X-Series allow the waterjet operator to see every line of code, so that any issues can be spotted before a cut is made.

The controller can jump to any point on the contour even if that part has not been cut, which allows total freedom for the operator.

With the retrofit, ACS can run all programs, old and new, as well as all files received from customers.

ACS Precision waterjet operators are also using the Wardjet wireless PDA pendant, which can be carried or worn on the belt, to allow them to move away from the machine.

When operators needed technical help, they used the live interactive Webex tool supported by Wardjet technicians.
