A standard parts and production equipment catalogue for workholding now includes a 40-page magnetics section as well as an extended hydraulics workholding range.
WDS have launched the 2nd edition of their industry leading standard parts and production equipment catalogue for 2002 It offers an extra 140 pages of products and services to help companies reduce production time through innovative new workholding solutions and a bespoke manufacturing service

To help manufacturers make the right choice, WDS has introduced a range of over 700 new standard parts. The items are featured in WDS' latest New Products Catalogue.
Twin vice systems double productivity
Two new twin vice systems from WDS enable companies producing machined parts to double their productivity by clamping two or more components at once.
In terms of production equipment, the catalogue includes a new 40-page 'Magnetics' section, an extended hydraulic clamping range from recently acquired Spencer Franklin and new Ball Lock? fast machine bed mounting systems.
Information is also available on the WDS 'Specials' service, which outlines how any of the 10,000 standard parts included in the catalogue can be modified or completely redesigned in-house to provide customised solutions for manufacturers in all industry areas.
WDS is also celebrating the company's 50th anniversary this year with many sales promotions including 1952 prices for one day a month and multiple savings on orders over 50 units from the new catalogue.
Readers will need a copy of the catalogue, available free from WDS by filling in the enquiry card or contacting WDS direct for further details of current offers.
The catalogue is also available as a CD Rom including.dxf files and line diagrams for use in engineering drawings and 3D CAD designs.
The WDS catalogue covers over 10,000 standard parts and items of production equipment, from machined profiles and pneumatic components to threaded fittings, clamps, hinges and fasteners.
The new 2002 catalogue retains the easy to use format, beginning with a quick photographic reference for every product in the catalogue and then profiles each item with a full list of variants and technical specifications.
