Marker system provides crisp text and graphics
Label printer-applicators include a high-density, on-demand thermal/thermal-transfer printer that provides crisp text, in-spec bar codes, and graphics at 203- or 300-dpi.
Label applicator wins on versatility
Low cost, durable construction, reliable operation, easy operation and versatility, makes a label applicator ideal for almost any type of primary labelling application.
The most significant new feature is the availability of the universal Visual Basic design package, which enables users to create label designs using standard Microsoft software rather than requiring a specially tailored program.
This provides an open system to link with customers' existing network operations to ensure ease of operation.
The Legi software also features 32bit-memory capacity for maximum power and speed, plus RS285 communication, which enables up to 60 printers within a 3km radius to be centrally controlled.
The 5200 Series was designed by Weber to satisfy the challenging labelling requirements of most industries.
Each system includes a high-density, on-demand thermal/thermal-transfer printer that provides crisp text, in-spec bar codes, and graphics at 203- or 300-dpi.
Pressure-sensitive labels from 1.0in to 6.0in wide and up to 6.0in long can be accommodated, printing at speeds of up to 12.0in per second.
The 5200 offers a choice of three application methods: air-blow, flex-tamp, or tamp-blow.
All methods provide precise label placement of +/-0.06in and are capable of applying labels to the top, bottom, or sides of a product or carton.
Options include a quick-change tamp pad, which allows the system to be easily adjusted to accommodate different label sizes, and a product height sensor to enable the labelling of items of varying height running along the same conveyor.
The 5200 Series is also ruggedly constructed to tolerate harsh industrial environments, with vital components housed inside a corrosion-resistant stainless steel cabinet.
