Marker system provides crisp text and graphics
Label printer-applicators include a high-density, on-demand thermal/thermal-transfer printer that provides crisp text, in-spec bar codes, and graphics at 203- or 300-dpi.
In addition, the Weber stand will host a presence from GS1, the association specialising in cross-sector supply chain standards for bar codes and all types of electronic business communications, and visitors will be able to obtain independent advice on their coding requirements.
RFID-enabled versions of the Weber 5200 printer-applicator and Alpha 86 label applicator and an RFID version of Weber's Legitronic Labelling Software will be exhibited to meet continuing interest in the technology from a variety of end markets.
Weber will also be demonstrating a range of bar code scanning and verification equipment to help end-users ensure bar codes are accurate and readable, thus maximising efficiencies in the distribution chain and reducing product returns.
As part of this solutions approach, Weber is also a GS1 UK Accredited Solution Provider, confirming its ability to deliver coding solutions based on the EAN.UCC System for bar coding.
At Total, GS1 will be present on the Weber stand to offer visitors advice on the particular bar coding requirements and possible solutions for their particular market or application.
